Solar powered roof vent

CertainTeed Air Ventilation Division has introduced solar powered roof vents. An environmentally conscious way to ventilate the attic, they require no electrical hook-up. A solar panel is used to collect power directly from the sun and convert it into electricity. This energy operates the high efficiency, durable 24-volt DC motor inside the powered vent. The dome and solar panel are separate units and can be installed in different locations on the roof for optimal positioning and to maximize energy collection.
