Insulated Hurricane Impact Products

Vetter Windows and Doors unveils its Insulated Hurricane Impact Products, designed to meet the stringent wind-borne debris codes of the eastern United States. The Insulated Hurricane Impact Products have a durable layer of .090 in. or .100 in. gauge polyvinyl butral (PVB) bonded between two panes of annealed laminated glass. Should the glass break, the laminated interlayer is designed to remain intact, protecting the home and its contents. The panes of glass offer superior insulating properties; greater insulation can be attained by filling the airspace with argon gas.
