Warranty coverage for MiraTEC Treated Exterior Composite Trim CMI has extended the warranty coverage for MiraTEC€ž¥ Treated Exterior Composite Trim to 30 years. MiraTEC is now the only wood composite trim product to provide combined warranty protection against hail damage, delamination, decomposition due to fungal growth, splitting and cracking, and buckling for 30 years. No hardboard or oriented strand board (OSB) trim product available offers this level of protection. CMI, which manufactures MiraTEC trim at its state-of-the-art production facility in Towanda, Pa., extended the warranty from 25 to 30 years after more than eight years of successful use on residential and commercial buildings in weather conditions throughout the country. 100360809
